BIO OF TY...

I wrote my first comedic screenplay at the age of twelve. Ten years later, my love of comedy and writing took me from Connecticut to Los Angeles where I honed my comedic craft by studying at world famous comedy theaters, "The Groundlings" and "UCB". My internet hits, "Sexual Harassment" and "Planet Unicorn" cemented me as a first generation viral video creator. I am an alumni of one of LA's most respected comedic film festivals, "Channel 101", creating the award-winning high school comedy "Classroom", where I worked and competed alongside such comedic stars as Dan Harmon, Andy Samberg, Jack Black, and Sarah Silverman. I have been awarded numerous times, most notably for "Planet Unicorn" which was named Funniest Animated Web Series, All-Time by Timeout NY and nabbed the 2008 OMFG Award at LOGO's NewNowNext Awards. From 2008 to 2014, I developed several projects with entertainment powerhouse FreMantle Media, selling and writing a half-hour animated pilot to Spike TV, which was produced at Titmouse Animation. I have also written, produced, and directed content for Rooster Teeth, The Fine Brothers, Break Media, The Chelsea Handler Show, Mondo Media, Next Media Animation,The Pet Collective, VH1, Captain Morgan, LOGO, Makers, Fox News Channel, and many others. I am currently the Showrunner for a half-hour comedy series for Bellum Entertainment and have been helping the company develop other half-hour comedy series ideas. Currently, I am in development with Sunblock Studios on a live-action half-hour comedic series called "Life of Ty", based on my life and therapy.
